GRE preparation strategy

You should start with
Verbal Concepts ->
a) For RC -> it is needed to have reading habits. Faster reading may give better results......
I would suggest you to start with concepts of barrons and do practice from that.. Also, practice as much as you can .... you can follow codecoax.com

b) For vocab -> it would be great if you could have time for vocab as well.. People do ignore the importance of words..... Start doing word list of high frequency words...
For Practicing Vocab-
(i) Follow word list of Big book or barrons
(ii) For meaning and usage -> follow dictionary.com
(iii) For similar words /synonyms -> follow thesaurus.com or mnemonicdictiory.com
[now You will be wondering, why I have suggest doing synonyms as well....because in the questions of SE and TC... the options are of words carrying almost same meaning.. If u aren't clear about the meaning of both words you wont be able to answer that.]

----do as much words as you can specially their usage..
--- Every word have around 1 or more than 1 meanings..
it is said that, gre doesn't ask u the meaning that u know already... So, it is good to lean the every possible meaning of every word and their usage.....
--mnemonic technique is the best for preparing vocab...

c) For SE and TC -> the best book to follow is barrons gre and manhattan's SE and TC guide. If you can complete that, consider that you have completed half of the race... rest is the gre exam.......

d) For Critical reasoning -> You should know how to find the flaws in the sentence... Most of them are logical flaws..
Best source for preparing CR is: Princeton's GMAT guide - Chapter- Critical reasoning
CR carry somewhat same features to the argument essay's

e) For Essays:
write as much as you can.. proper grammar.. proper usage of words.. proper format plays the important role in scoring....."" intro then first reason and then second reason and so on and then final result.....is format of writing essays"""
For preparing essays- follow the format of putting up words in essays... i would suggest to do practice from:
http://www.ets.org/gre/revised_general/prepare/

Or you can prepare the format of essay from princeton's gmat guide's last chapter.[analytical writing assessment]. [you can download that book]

You can also follow Magoosh's tutorials
Hope this helps..
Good Luck for GRE
